Recently, I had the pleasure of being interviewed by the Contemporary Art Magazine Al-Tiba9 as part of their Platform Interviews for Artists series. The conversation explored the essence of my artistic practice - how sculpture, tapestry, and painting come together in my work, and why the human form continues to be a central theme in my visual language.
In the interview, I talked about my background, my relationship with materials, and the process of translating abstract ideas into physical form. We also explored the tension between fragility and strength in the human body, and how I strive to capture this in both my sculptures and tapestries.
Al-Tiba9 gave me the space to reflect on what drives me to create - beyond technique or medium - and to share some personal insights about how my work evolves over time. It’s always interesting to take a step back and put into words what usually happens in silence in the studio.

I’m grateful to Al-Tiba9 for the thoughtful questions and the opportunity to share my perspective with a broader audience.
